Behind the Brushstrokes. A Journey Through Color and Texture

As long as I can remember, I have been creating with my hands. Growing up in a home filled with color, music, and laughter, my artistic journey is deeply rooted in a joy for life itself. From elements of nature to human emotion, everything inspires me. In 2024, I started my form of expression through textured art.

Making art and painting is a process that brings me a rare sense of calm. My wish is simply to inspire and bring joy, whether you are experiencing my work here or on Instagram.

Growing Up in a World of Color

My childhood in Norway was a palette of impressions, shaped by a family of hobby artists. This gave me a deep love for color, and for everything life has to offer. From the quiet of the forest to the openness of mountain peaks, from cold to warmth, laughter, love, family, people, travel, and animals. All of this comes together in my art .

From Intuition to Canvas

Since 2024, I have focused mainly on exploring texture art formation. I also enjoy working with oil sticks, watercolor drawing, and watercolor painting. I am an adventurer at heart, with a restlessness that settles when I paint. It is my form of meditation, and i love it.

A Story in Every Stroke

My process begins by building texture with wall filler on cotton canvas, a preparatory stage that requires patience and continuity. I paint with all sorts of acrylics, mixing the colors together. With the environment in mind, I try to use as much of the paint as possible. So that can result in a unique color palette that cannot be recreated (with some irritation at times, when I really want to reproduce something). For this reason, every painting is truly one of a kind.

What do I want to evoke?

They feel what they feel. Each experience is personal and free to unfold for the viewer"
